Halloween Parade 2006

bootoyoutoo.jpgSaturday, October 28 the the library hosted a Halloween Parade.  35 children of all ages dressed up in their costumes and came to City Hall where they were read two stories, The Ghost’s Dinner by Jacques Duquennoy, and Boo to You Too!by Elizabeth Rodger.  When the stories were finished, the kids lined up and went on parade!  The first stop was First National Bank of Corning, next Corning General Store, we made a trip to Nemaha County Co-op, and finally swung by Corning Grill.  The kids got treats from each of these businesses, and received goody bags and refreshments from the library when they returned to City Hall.

A big Thank-you to everyone who participated and to those who helped out!

We took lots of pictures.  Check them out HERE!
